While it was unclear for a while if Twitter would manage to stick around and continue being a major player in the social media game, and while they still have a lot to prove, they have been adding many new features to make social media marketing a little bit easier.
Twitter has always been popular with its user base. People love Twitter. It’s marketers who have a hard time understanding their return on investment is and how to best use the platform for their time and energy. We all know social media is a valuable part of online marketing, it’s just that not many marketers know how Twitter can work for them.

Twitter Dashboard is a new tool that lets you connect with fans, customers, and community by planning and scheduling tweets, engage more with a custom feed and get a little more creative with curated tweet tips.
By planning ahead directly in the Twitter Dashboard, you’ll be able to reach your audience when they’re online without requiring that you be online as well. You can be busy doing other things while your posts automatically go out. You’re also able to create a custom feed which will allow you to see what others are saying about your business so that you can more easily engage with the community and highlight your content. This helps you respond to the tweets that matter, not only the ones that mention your account handle. And, Curated Tweet tips will help you start conversations when you’re not sure what to post.
#Stickers
It’s no surprise that there are millions of photos sent out through Twitter every day. #Stickers was introduced to add some creativity to your Twitter photos. While not officially released yet, soon you’ll be able to use a rotating set of stickers that will enable you to join in on conversations. Choose from hundreds of accessories, emojis, and props that will make your photos fun. You can share what you’re doing, how you’re feeling, show support for a cause, or simply for fun! Use multiple stickers, resize and rotate them, and put them anyway on your photo.
Analytics
If you’re looking to advertise on Twitter, you’ll have access to the platforms analytics, similar to Facebook and LinkedIn. If you don’t already have an advertiser account, you’ll need to sign up for one here. You’ll also need to sign up for a promoted tweet or Twitter card campaign. From there, you can view your analytics in the dashboard, with four different sections: Tweets, Followers, Twitter Cards, and an option to switch accounts.
This is where you will find detailed reports on how you’re performing. You can learn which tweets did the best and the months interactions.
