It’s important for your customers to become advocates for your brand and spread the word about how awesome you are. One way to facilitate this is to make video testimonials from folks you have worked with. Hearing someone else's experience carries a huge weight, and can give a glimpse as to what a potential customer can expect when working with you.
Ok, so let’s get started. The video should be a concise story of that person’s experience. It should follow the same basic story arc we see in movies.
Act 1: Introduce a character(s)
This is where your client comes in. We want to briefly get to know them. This section should include who they are, and what they do.
Act 2: Show conflict or struggle
What problem were they having that you or your product helped them solve? This is the part that will resonate with your viewers. Maybe they are having the same or a similar problem. They may have tried other solutions, but they didn’t work.
Act 3: Resolution
This is where you become the star of the show. Your product was able to meet their needs and now they couldn’t imagine life without it! Your viewers now have a face and the name of someone who was in their position but was able to overcome the issues they were having.
